Campus Van

  • Campus mini-vans and 12-passenger vans can be reserved through the Buntrock Commons Office (x3017)
  • Students, staff and faculty need to attend a driver training session before they can drive a campus van (only students age 20 and over are eligible)
  • Driver training sessions will be offered on
    • David Leake, Director of Environmental Health & Safety offers driver safety classes at St. Olaf to become certified to drive the colleges vehicles. If you have students you wish to be certified, they must be at least 20 years of age to be eligible to drive these vehicles.  Immediately following the behind-the-wheel class is a hands on training class in order to be certified to drive the 12 passenger vans.  There is no need to pre-register for the class.  Your certification is good for two years, after which time you may take an on-line renewal. Contact Jody Greenslade <greens@stolaf.edu> or x3016 in the Treasurer's Office to get details on the upcoming information sessions or to renew your certification.
    • Please plan to attend the behind the wheel portion immediately following the classroom session if you need to drive the 12 passenger vans

Northfield Transit

  • Dial-A-Ride for curb-to-curb bus service between requested locations. You will be given the first available time based on demand and other schedules. Two-hour advance reservation requested for Dial-A-Ride service
  • Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am- 4:30pm and Sat 10:00am- 1:00pm
