CALL FOR STUDENT POSTERS/DISPLAYSSTUDENT EXPO
NOBEL PEACE PRIZE FORUM
"STRIVING FOR PEACE: A CLIMATE FOR CHANGE"
Students or groups of students from St. Olaf, Concordia, Augsburg, Augustana and Luther are invited to submit descriptions of posters or other displays they would like to exhibit from 11:30am-1:15pm on Saturday, March 7th during the 21st Annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum.
Posters/displays need to be able to be displayed on either an easel, on top of a 4' wide table or on the ground within a small space (roughly 5' x 5'). We encourage posters or displays that connect to the causes and effects of climate change in relation to peace and human rights.
There will be four categories of student work:
- Student research posters related to climate change causes, effects and choices
- Public education posters/displays on climate change causes, effects and choices
- Campus initiative posters/displays that highlight successful student organizations, programs, etc.
- Artistic display that relates to global climate change that can be displayed visually (e.g., short film shown on a laptop, painting, photograph, poem, etc.)
- Cash prizes (up to three $100 awards) will be awarded for best posters and displays.
- Significance of the work to climate change and its relation to peace and human rights
- Quality or impact of the research, public education or campus initiative
- Clarity of the message and relevance to readers.
