Summer Intern
Founded in 2003, ID Insight has quickly established itself as a knowledge leader in identity fraud detection and prevention. ID Insight's original concept of Address Differential Analysis has sculpted the next generation of identity verification and authentication solutions for the financial industry.

In this position, you will be expected to conduct valuable market research that will ultimately shape future growth strategies for the company. The internship will be held in Northfield , although much of the work can be conducted off-site. Dates and schedules are flexible, but you should be able to commit around twenty hours per week.

Position Description
This internship will be primarily a project-oriented market research position. The focus of the internship will be to research and explore new market segments that have not been historically been the centerpiece of ID Insight's sales and marketing strategy. These market verticals include: online merchants, wireless service providers, health care claims processors, insurance companies. As the proprietors of a patent-pending address change resolution technology used mainly for fraud detection within the financial industry, ID Insight aims to explore the potential applicability of this technology in other alternative markets. The research effort will likely pull information from both primary and secondary sources; including informational interviews, online databases, etc.

Deliverables for each project include: a written report detailing findings and providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, an exhaustive list of sources used, conclusions/recommendations.

Academic internship programs will be supported.

Qualifications

  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior with strong academic record
  • Strong research and analytical abilities, ability to extend knowledge and skills to the topic at hand and to conceptualize and frame relevant questions
  • Evidence of effectiveness working independently, demonstrated self-starter
  • Learns quickly
  • Ability to interact well with all kinds of people
  • Understanding of and respect for diversity

Compensation
This is an unpaid internship.
