Meet the Directors
Mishia B. Edwards, Production Director
Mishia is a director, educator and actor with a master’s degree in theatre with an emphasis in directing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Mishia has acting experience at both the professional and community theatre levels and has taught theatre classes at Middle Tennessee State University. Other theatres Mishia has taught for include Wayside Theatre in Virginia, Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, Nebraska Shakespeare Festival, Omaha Community Playhouse, Hickory Community Theatre in North Carolina and The Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts.
Todd Edwards, Technical Director
Todd is the theatre technical director at St. Olaf College. He served as assistant professor of theatre design and technology at Lenoir Rhyne College, and as assistant professor of theatre and head of the lighting and sound program at Middle Tennessee State University. While employed at MTSU, Todd toured Russia, Latvia, and Finland with his sound design for an original work entitled AMERICAN TALL TALES.
Todd has designed for many theatres, including Natural Theatricals in Washington, D.C., Theatre Charlotte, Hickory Community Theatre, The Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts, Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, James Madison University and Wayside Theatre in Middletown, Virginia. Todd has an M.F.A. in theatre design and technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and a B.A. in drama with minors in art and English from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Ala.
