Common Sense Reminders
- Do NOT adjust any item labeled "DO NOT TOUCH"
- When possible, insure the technology works before class time.

1. Projecting the Gateway Computer
- Turn on the projector by pressing the green power button on the projector remote.
- Turn on the Gateway computer by pressing the power button on the front of the tower, which is located on the ground to the right side of the instructor desk.
- To bring up the computer's monitor, pull up the screen, which is located at the far end of the desk.
2. Using the Document Camera
- Unfold the lights and camera arm on the document camera.
- Turn it on by the power switch on the upper right side of the device.
- The document camera will be displayed through the projector using input 1.
- The adjustments and controls are located on the front panel of the document camera.
3. Shutting Down the Cart
- If you are using the PC, go to the Start menu and select Shut Down.
- Push the “power” button on the remote and wait for the projector to cool down and shut off.
- Let the projector cool down (approximately two minutes until the fan quiets)
- Return the computer display to the storage position.
