Clearing your Browser Cache
PCs:
Macs:
- Log out of Gmail and close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser and select Clear Recent History...
- Click the upward arrow (
) next to Details. - Select the Cookies and Cache checkboxes.
- Click Clear Now.
- Log out of Gmail and close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Firefox menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences...
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Click Clear Now... at the bottom of the dialogue box.
- Check the boxes next to Cache and Cookies in the new dialogue box.
- Click Clear Private Data Now.
- Log out of Gmail. Close all other open browser windows.
- Click the Tools menu at the top of your browser, and select Internet Options.
- Click the General tab at the top of the dialogue box.
- Click Delete Files under Temporary Internet files.
- Select Delete all offline content by checking the box.
- Click OK.
- Log out of Gmail and close all other open browser windows.
- Click Tools > Internet Options.
- Select the General tab.
- Click Delete under Browsing History.
- Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files.
- Click Delete Cookies.
- Click OK.
- Log out of Gmail and close all other open browser windows.
- Click Tools on the right-hand side of the window, then click Internet Options.
- In the General tab, click Delete... under Browsing History.
- Check the boxes next to Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.
- Click Delete.
- Log out of Gmail. Close all other open browser windows.
- Open the Safari menu on your browser's toolbar.
- Select Empty Cache.
- Click Empty in the dialogue box.
If clearing your browser's cache and cookies didn't fix the problem, please try the following:
- If the date on your computer isn't correct, please change it to the current date.
- Make sure that 'Private Browsing...' isn't enabled in your browser's preferences. Click Safari in the browser menu. If there's a check mark next to 'Private Browsing...,' select it to disable it.
