How to Enable Cookies
Cookies are packets of information that are used by websites to remember numbers, words, and other information for a specific user, such as when using an online store or filling out a form. Some sites require cookies to be enabled, and this is done differently for each browser. These instructions are for the most common internet browsers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Safari.
Firefox
- Click on Tools in the top toolbar
- Click on Options in the drop down box
- Click on the Privacy tab, click on the Cookies tab
- Check the box marked Allow sites to set cookies.
Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8
- Click on Tools in the top toolbar
- Click on Internet Options in the drop down box
- Click on the Privacy tab, and select the Medium setting using the slider control.
Safari
- Click on Safari in the top menu
- Click on Preferences in the drop down box
- Click on the Security icon
- Click on Always in the Accept Cookies box.
