Fathom

Fathom is a data analysis software package used at St. Olaf College.

Fathom is available on all college-owned Windows PCs. It can be launched by clicking Start > St. Olaf Apps > Math > Fathom.

Installation

Fathom is installed on all college-owned Windows PCs.

To install fathom on a faculty- or student-owned computer:

  1. Download the fathom disk image [iso]. When prompted, enter your St. Olaf username and password.
  2. Save the disk image (.iso file) to your computer.
  3. Use CD-ROM burning software (e.g. Roxio or Nero) to burn the Fathom disk image to a CD.
  4. Use the CD to install Fathom.

Versions and Availability

St. Olaf has a site license for Fathom. This allows Fathom to be installed on college-owned computers as well as faculty- and student-owned computers. St. Olaf is currently running Fathom version 2.0. It is available for both Windows PCs and Macs.
