Meeting Maker Troubleshooting
These are some common problems we see with MeetingMaker at St. Olaf.
Internal Error -2146893802 on Windows Clients
Problem: When attempting to login using a Meeting Maker native client v8.5.0 or higher on a Windows workstation, you get an internal error -2146893802 and the login fails.
Cause:
Meeting Maker v8.5.0 is the first version of Meeting Maker to use the RSA security certificates provided by the operating system. If these certificates are bad / corrupt you will get this error.
Solution:
Go to c:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA and delete the contents of the RSA folder.
