Clearing your Temporary Internet Files
Clearing your Temporary Internet Files is a simple yet effective way to keep your web browser running quickly and efficiently. Depending on how often you use the Web, you should perform these steps at least once a month.
Internet Explorer
From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. The following window appears. Click the "Delete Files" button outlined in red below.
Depending on how often you perform this operation, it may take up to five minutes to delete your temporary files. During this time, your browser may appear to be frozen.

Mozilla Firefox
From the Tools menu, select Options. Select Privacy from the left column. Then, click the "Clear Cache" button circled in the image below:
