Configuring Ubuntu Linux for the St. Olaf Wireless Network
Follow these instructions to connect a computer running Ubuntu Linux to the St. Olaf wireless network. Other Linux distributions are similar but probably won't exactly match the screen shots below.
- Click on the NetworkManager applet and click St. Olaf.

- In the Wireless Network Authentication Required window, enter the following information:
Wireless security: "WPA & WPA2 Enterprise"
Authentication: "Protected EAP (PEAP)"
Inner authentication: "MSCHAPv2"
Username: Enter your St. Olaf username
Password: Enter your St. Olaf password

- Click Connect.
- If you receive a warning that "No Certificate Authority certificate chosen", click Ignore.

- You will be connected to the St. Olaf wireless network.
