HelpDesk

The HelpDesk functions as a main computer and audio/visual technolgy help facility for students, faculty, and staff. Our focus areas are the classrooms, public computer facilities, student networking, and general technology questions and concerns of members of the St. Olaf community.

The HelpDesk also handles username requests, password changes, assists with application support and media duplication (VHS, DVD) and conversions.


Location

The HelpDesk is located in Rolvaag Memorial Library 251 (level 2 1/2). From the main lobby of the Library, go down one flight of stairs and the HelpDesk is located at the base of the stairs.

Hours of operation

During the academic year, the Helpdesk is open at the following times:

Day Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday Closed
Sunday 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Help is available at the Rolvaag Library Reference Desk in the evenings during the academic year:

Day Hours
Monday - Thursday 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

 

Summer hours are as follows:

Day Hours
Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
