New Features in the Student Information System

For Students

Your public (directory) information designations under FERPA are now visible. In addition, there are two designations for academic and personal information that replace the green form you sign as a first year student.

You may also keep your addresses up to date.  You can change your permanent or billing address or give us a summer contact address.

You will now be able to see your Organization membership and awards.  Organizations tracked are music, athletics and student government.  Awards tracked include the Dean’s list, Honor’s Day, sport’s letters, Phi Beta Kappa, and scholarships like Rhode’s or Fulbright.  For music students, your music performances and attendance is also shown.  Please contact the Registrar (registrar@stolaf.edu) with any questions about academic information, or Music (bundegaar@stolaf.edu) with questions about music-related information.

For Faculty and Staff

You will see the student’s FERPA preferences on their directory information page.

You will also be able to see student organizations and awards rosters or view a particular student’s membership.  Athletic coaches may view academic information for their players with authorization from the Registrar’s office.

All address changes within departments should now be submitted through the Student Information System.
