IIT Welcomes Dana Thompson

IIT is pleased to welcome Dana Thompson to our staff. Dana joined us in September as the new Coordinator of Classroom Technologies and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him.

Previous to starting here at St. Olaf, Dana owned and operated an Audio/Video contracting company in Fargo, North Dakota. He also worked with a video production firm in Lenexa, Kansas, managing an installation division, before returning to Minnesota earlier this year.

Dana specializes in design and project management of integrated audio, video, and control systems in schools, businesses, and churches. He also has several certifications in computer hardware, applications, and network support.

On a more personal note, Dana enjoys playing jazz in big bands, in small groups, and on street corners and enjoys spending time with his wife, Susan, and daughter, Kathleen, at their home in Faribault.
