Meeting Maker

IIT is excited to announce that the new Meeting Maker calendar program is ready for use! Meeting Maker is a group scheduling application that can be used to manage your calendar as well as schedule meetings with others. It is available for PCs and Macs and it has a web interface for off-campus use.

During this first phase of the roll out we are limiting use to staff only;  faculty will be added during phase two (expected sometime later this semester).

Meeting Maker provides supervisors and office staff an opportunity to change or improve business practices in terms of how scheduling and appointments are handled for individuals and entire offices. These new opportunities present some issues that justify a reminder and some discussion. It is important to note that, like other campus technologies, the calendar program is for college business; use of the calendar for scheduling personal appointments should be cleared with your supervisor. In some circumstances, supervisors, team leaders, or others in the office will have the ability to view your calendar or even schedule an appointment.

Unlike some of the campus software, Meeting Maker is licensed by the user, meaning we can install the program on only a designated number of machines.  To ensure that the licenses are distributed only to those offices or individuals that will use the software we will create accounts on an on-demand basis. If you would like a Meeting Maker account and you are a St. Olaf staff member, please e-mail root@stolaf.edu.  Once the account is set up you will receive an e-mail message that will contain quick instructions on how to get started.

For information about using Meeting Maker, please see the Meeting Maker documentation.
