Faculty Technology Poster Session

The Center for Innovation in the Liberal Arts (CILA) and Information and Instructional Technologies (IIT) will co-sponsor the first ever Faculty Showcase Poster Session: Teaching with Technology.

It will take place Tuesday, November 6, 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. in the Black Ballroom.

Organized like a conference poster session, several faculty and IIT staff members will be on hand to show interesting, innovative, and impressive uses of technology in the classrooms.

Some of the projects that will be on display are:

• Personal Response Systems a.k.a. Clickers
• Wimba Voice Tools
• Wikis
• Paperless Classroom
• Google Earth
• Sympodium and Synchroneyes
• iChat
• Wide-format Printing

More "posters" are being added daily.

If you wish to attend, you must RSVP to Susan Carlson (carlsons@stolaf.edu) by November 2. Appetizers will be available as you wander around the room talking to the many presenters.
