Clientele Software Helps the HelpLine

The ACC recently purchased and installed Clientele, a HelpDesk application that will help us provide better service to the community in a variety of ways.

Clientele will track every call for help that comes into the ACC HelpLine. It will help us enter accurate information about the user, the computer, and the problem. It will assign the problem to an ACC staff member who will record all activities related to the call and will close the call when the work is completed.

Clientele will maintain a database of all problems and solutions, which will help us to solve problems more efficiently.

When fully implemented, Clientele will also manage our equipment inventory and purchase order databases, and it will assist us with scheduling events, such as workshops and seminars.

Help Us to Help You

Because Clientele will help us assure that your problem does not "fall through the cracks," we ask that you report a problem only once, and to a single ACC staff member--preferably the HelpLine at ext. 3830. This will eliminate duplication of ACC staff effort, which has been a significant problem in the past. We appreciate your cooperation.
