Guidelines for Computer Access
St. Olaf students, faculty, and staff may receive accounts and user privileges on St. Olaf computer systems by completing the appropriate forms at the IIT HelpDesk. Faculty emeriti may continue their accounts and user privileges with some limits on access and service. Graduates may retain limited system privileges for a maximum of three months after graduation. In all cases in which continued computer access is granted, IIT reserves the right to limit the amount of access and type of service provided.
No employee or student may use St. Olaf computers or network for profit-making ventures. No employee or student may use St. Olaf computers or network on behalf of external organizations or persons unless such use is directly related to St. Olaf courses or to faculty research and professional development.
