Update Zone
Purpose
The Update Zone is a special network that will allow you access to the Internet so that you can download and install critical operating system patches and security updates to your computer without infecting other computers on the campus network or becoming (more) infected by other computers.
While connected to the Update Zone, you can reach web servers on the Internet (including the St. Olaf web server) but can't access any of the other St. Olaf network resources, such as printers, file servers, etc.
