John Chapman is from Alexandria, Virginia. He would like to double major in education and social work. He plans on joining student government, football and basketball. One thing that John liked about the PEP program "was that I enjoyed meeting new people before the school year starts."

Tung Do is from Northfield, Minnesota. He plans on majoring in economics, Asian Studies, and business management. He would like to join the soccer team, multicultural program, student government, and the Asian group. Tung likes to listen to music, watch movies, talk to his friends, and is also an Amway business member. Tung said that he liked the PEP program a lot because he learned so much and that he made a lot of new friends.

Aspen Fitzgerald-Dorsey is from Woodbridge, Virginia. Her possible majors are Studio Art, Creative Writing (English), and Film. Her hobbies are playing the guitar, writing, putting stuff on the walls, art, dancing, singing, watching movies and film. She is active in Amnesty International and the ELCA Leadership. Aspen collects quotes and writes down clever things that she hears, hoping to learn from them. She always has a pen and/or pencil and paper everywhere she goes.

Saroeun Earm is from St. Paul, MN. She plans to major in South East Asian Studies and Human Rights. She enjoys playing tennis, swimming and dancing. She said, "The PEP program has prepared me tremendously for Saint Olaf."

Sean Fleming is from Cannon Falls, Minnesota. An activity that he plans on being active in is football. His hobbies are hanging out, watching television, playing Playstation, and working out. Sean says, that he liked the PEP program because he learned about the campus, got into the study mode for regular classes and met new people so he would have friends to hang out with during the school year.

Darren Flynn is from Lonsdale, Minnesota. He is planning to major in pre-medicine/pre-engineering. Some of the groups that Darren would like to join on campus are basketball, football, golf, ultimate Frisbee, and weight lifting. In his spare time he likes to hang out, create and record songs, produce and engineer CD's, act, model, play drums, guitar, bass and keys. There are many things that Darren liked about the PEP program: the food, everything is paid for, the support given to you so you can succeed at St. Olaf, and it is really helpful and motivating.

Sandra Forsyth is from Andover, Minnesota. She plans on majoring in biology. One thing she would like to do is to try out for the St. Olaf Choir. In her spare time, she likes to go to the movies with her friends. When asked about what she liked about PEP, Sandra said, "I liked the people involved in PEP because they were fun to be around."

Reggie Fuller is from Maple Lake, Minnesota. He is planning on majoring in biology. He is interested in participating on the football and wrestling teams. When Reggie has spare time, he likes to hunt, fish, and hang out with friends. One thing that he liked about PEP is the help given to succeed at Saint Olaf.

Travis Harwood is from Rockford, Minnesota. He is undecided about what he would like to major in. In his spare time, he likes to watch movies, listen to music, and visit with friends. Travis says that the best part of PEP is getting to know the other people.

Annie Johnson is from Le Center, Minnesota. She is planning on majoring in photography. She would like to become a member of the St. Olaf Choir. Annie is a very spontaneous person who enjoys doing a lot of different things. Somedays she likes to sit and watch movies and other days you can find her on a rock wall. She is very flexible as to the activities she will try. She mentions that "PEP was a great experience in terms of meeting new people. By the 5th day, we live together as if we had known each other forever. It is amazing how a small group could be so close."

Yang Lor is from St. Paul, MN. He plans to double major in Mathematics and Physics. He enjoys playing volleyball and plans to be involved in the Asian Club. His hobbies are playing Magic: The Gathering and his computer. "The best thing about PEP was the freedom and, most importantly, the college experience in the biology class was wonderful."

Mohamed Mohamed is from Edina, Minnesota. At St. Olaf College he wants to major in Biology and Pre-Med. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and swimming. Other hobbies he has are watching movies, playing all sorts of sports, video games, hanging out with friends, and reading the Koran. "PEP was an awesome program where I learned to mingle with other students and participate in activities."

Martin Olague comes from Rialto, California. He plans to major in Mathematics. He enjoys playing football, playing video games, and listing to music. He loves to meet new people and make lots of friends which PEP allowed him to do.

Griselda Orozco is from Los Angeles, California. At Saint Olaf College she wants to major in English. The activities she enjoys doing are cross country, track, choir, and dancing. In her spare time she loves to write and spend time with my friends. "PEP was awesome because of the people, classes, and the activities planned."

Oscar Perez is from Bell Gardens, California. He wants to double major in Biology and Chemistry. He plans to be involved in Cross country and track. What he liked about PEP was how the TA's and Professor took their time in order to help us.

Jade Soik comes form Sturgon Bay, Wisconsin. She is planning on pursing a double major in vocal performance and music education. She would like to be in choir and on the intramural volleyball team. In her spare time she likes to sing, dance, play the piano, sleep, and travel. "The best thing about PEP was knowing that you will have friends after the program is over." People say that she is a very talkative, outgoing individual who is always laughing.

Na Thao's full name is Shina Thao. He is from St. Paul, MN. He is pursuing a major in Secondary Education and Chemistry. During his spare time, he likes to write poetry. His hobbies are listening to music, writing, and singing. He likes PEP because "it helped me to understand college life."

Yesenia Velazquez is from Bell Gardens, California. She plans to major in education. In her spare time she like to listen to music, relax, talk to friends, and take naps. What she likes about PEP so far is "getting to meet a lot of nice people in such a short time and making good friends that care about me."

Herbert Washington is from Phoenix, Arizona. He wants to major in vocal performance, biology and piano. He would like to join the Saint Olaf Choir, Viking Choir, and the Basketball Team. In his spare time he loves to play basketball, sing, and dance. "What I enjoyed about PEP was meeting people and also learning about college life."

Dexter Watson II is from Chicago, Illinois. He intends to major in Mathematics with a Computer Science Concentration (for now). Dexter's hobbies are playing sports, being active, listening to music, working with computers, fixing things, cooking and eating (mostly eating), watching movies and playing video games. He plans to be involved in intramural sports, basketball, and CUBE.

Vang Xiong is from Onalaska, Wisconsin. She wants to double major in Spanish and she is not sure what else. The activities she wants to be involved with are choir, theater, forensics, and some intramural sports. During her spare time she likes to hang out with friends, talk, take walks, and study. The best thing about PEP "is that we get a head start on college."

Boonma Yang is from Saint Paul, Minnesota. He is planning to major in Pre-Med. In his spare time he likes to read martial arts books and draw. His favorite hobby is volleyball. The things he enjoyed about PEP was the fun we had and the beginning of great first year college experiences.
