LABELS AND SIGNS
    A. Each department at St. Olaf will ensure that biohazard labels will be used to mark containers of regulated waste, refrigerators and freezers containing blood or other infectious materials, and other containers used to store, transport or ship infectious materials. St. Olaf will use the universal biohazard symbol, and labels will be red or fluorescent orange.

  • B. Red bags and containers with the biohazard symbol imprinted may be used without additional labels.
