Over the years there have been many physical plans for the campus. These have been documented in a variety ofways, but always included a map which served as a graphical representation of the "master plan" These graphical files are fairly large and may take a while to load via some modems. We apologize, but feel that it is important that they be seen in this level of detail.
- 1908 This plan came as the Class Gift from the Class of '05.
1916 The 1916 plan was developed to study siting possibilities for the new gymnasium.
1922 The 1922 plan seems to have been developed to site Rolvaag Library, note that the proposed buildings take on a very strong North/South orientation. The proposed Rolvaag, Holland, Chapel, classroom building set up an intiguing quad.
1944 The 1944 plan continues the North/south orientation, but distributes proposed buildings more to the outside, setting up larger open spaces in the core.
1966 This plan from 1966 develops site options for Skoglund Athletic Center. Note that the building, in almost its present configuration, is sited at Manitou Field. We will work to get a better scan of this plan shortly.
- 1996 This map from 1996 is essentially one of existing conditions at the time.
