St. Olaf College Upward Bound (UB) is a federally-funded TRiO program designed to help high school students reach college by providing academic and personal support and guidance. St. Olaf College Upward Bound students are from |
families below 150% of poverty and would be the first generation in their family to attend college. St. Olaf Upward Bound has been hosted by the College since 1989. TRiO Programs are funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, and were initially just three programs.
