Summer Program

During the summer program, our Upward Bound students live on the St. Olaf College campus for six weeks. Supervised by both full and part-time staff members in the residence halls and classrooms, students participate in a college simulation that prepares students for success in high school and postsecondary education.

While Bridge students and undergraduate students take very different classes during the day, all St. Olaf Upward Bound students live in a residential hall at St. Olaf. All students are assigned a roommate, eat in the cafeteria and live like a college student.

Students are given a Student Handbook, which lists the rules that all St. Olaf College Upward Bound students must follow; these rules are strictly enforced by staff and are also sent home to parents/guardians within the Summer Forms Packet.
