Wimba Instructions For Students

First Time Users

Reply to Voice Board and Voice Presentation Thread

 

  • Open St. Olaf. web page
  • Change the url to: go.stolaf.edu/wimba
  • Type your email with the extension @stolaf.edu
  • Click: “Forgot my password?”
  • Go to your email and find the new password for Wimba
  • Go back to Wimba login and type the new password in
  • Click on the Voice Board icon
  • Click on the “View” icon
  • Highlight the title
  • Press "Play" icon and listen the recording or read the assignment
  • Press “Reply”- upper icon , for Voice Presentation click "Comment" instead of "Reply"
  • Press “Record” on the applet- the round button- and record your answer
  • Press “Stop” on the applet- square icon- and then “play”. Listen to your recording
  • Rerecord if you are not satisfied with your recording
    • Press “Send ”
