Jeff O'Donnell is a 2002 graduate of St. Olaf College,
where he received a bachelor of music degree cum laude in
church music. He studied organ with John Ferguson and choral conducting
with Anton Armstrong. Jeff was a member of several music ensembles
including the St. Olaf Choir.
As a radio producer, Jeff has had a hand in many successful
radio projects, including serving as co-executive producer of Home,
Harvest and Healing: A Sing For Joy Hymn Festival and
St. Olaf: A Holiday Tradition of Note, part of NPR®'s
presentation of the 2003 St. Olaf Christmas Festival.
When not immersed in stacks of CDs choosing music
for the program, Jeff oversees the production and recording items
for Sing For Joy. He enjoys performing with several Twin
Cities choral ensembles, including VocalEssence. He is a terrible
golfer, but doesn't let that stop him from trying.
As a Lutheran "PK," Miriam has a long history of hearing, singing and enjoying sacred music. She is a very active choir member; currently singing with three local choirs. Miriam is very excited to help promote the unique blend of spiritual musical selections and narrations that Sing for Joy offers to listeners worldwide.
