Saturday, July 11
Group flight departs Minneapolis/St. Paul

Sunday, July 12
Arrive in Krakow
Transfer in a private coach from airport to the hotel. Depending on arrival time, a short neighborhood walking tour is possible. Group dinner at the hotel.

Monday, July 13
Krakow (B, L)
Opening seminar, followed by a walking tour of the Old City and Market Square. Group lunch in a local restaurant. Remainder of the day free with dinner on your own.

Tuesday, July 14
Krakow (B, D)
Morning seminar led by Kent and Renata followed by guided tours of the castle and cathedral. Lunch on your own. All or part of the afternoon free. Group dinner at a local restaurant. Attend a concert featuring Szymanowski.

Wednesday, July 15
Krakow/Excursion to Auschwitz (B)
Travel in a private coach to Auschwitz for a guided tour. Visit Wadowice before returning to Krakow.
Lunch and dinner on your own.

Thursday, July 16
Krakow — Zakopane (B, D)
Travel in a private coach to Zakopane. Lunch on your own en route to or on arrival in Zakopane. Informal walk around central Zakopane; visit the cemetery. Group dinner at the hotel.

Friday, July 17
Zakopane (B)
Travel in a private coach to the Dunajec River for a large raft cruise. Visit Lake Morskie Oko (“The Eye of the Sea”). Return to Zakopane by private coach. Lunch and dinner on your own.

Saturday, July 18
Zakopane — Warsaw (B, D)
Transfer in a private coach to the train station for the high speed train to Warsaw. Transfer in a private coach to the hotel. Group dinner at the hotel.

Sunday, July 19
Warsaw (B)
Morning seminar led by Kent and Renata. Attend a Chopin recital in Lazienki Park. Lunch on your own. Afternoon guided tours of the Old Town, Nowy Swiat Street, the castle, House of Marie Curie-Skladowska, and the church where the heart of Chopin is found.

Monday, July 20
Warsaw (B, D)
Morning seminar led by Kent and Renata, followed by a guided walking tour of the Warsaw ghetto and the new area of Marszalkowska Street. Afternoon free; group dinner.

Tuesday, July 21
Warsaw (B)
Travel in a private coach to Zelazowa Wola, the birthplace of Chopin. Lunch on your own. Return to Warsaw in time for dinner on your own.

Wednesday, July 22
Warsaw — Gdansk (B)
Travel in a private coach to Wilanów Castle, the summer palace of a 17th-century king. Lunch on your own. Return to Warsaw in time for dinner on your own.

Thursday, July 23
Gdansk (B)
Transfer in a private coach to the train station for the express train to Gdansk. Lunch on your own. On arrival, transfer in a private coach to the hotel. Group dinner at the hotel.

Friday, July 24
Gdansk (B, D)
Morning seminar led by Kent and Renata, followed by a guided walking tour of the Old Town, including Dluga street and the home of Lech Walesa. Lunch on your own before transferring in a private coach to the town of Oliwa. Group dinner at a local restaurant in Oliwa. Attend an evening organ concert. Return to Gdansk in a private coach.

Saturday, July 25
Gdansk (B, L)
Travel in a private coach to Malbork Castle. Group lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Gdansk in a private coach in time for dinner on your own.

Sunday, July 26
Gdansk (B)
Morning seminar led by Kent and Renata, followed by a guided tour of the Gdansk Shipyard and the Monument of the Fallen Shipyard Workers. Lunch on your own and afternoon free, with an optional visit to Westerplatte, a small peninsula where World War II started with the German invasion of Poland. Dinner on your own.

Monday, July 27
Gdansk/Day Excursion (B, D)
Travel in a private coach or by river cruise to Hel for a leisurely visit. Lunch on your own. Return to Gdansk for a farewell group dinner.

Tuesday, July 28
Departure to United States (B)
Transfer in a private coach to the airport for flights home.
