Payment Schedule

Jan. 11–31, 2009
This schedule is based on payments St. Olaf College must make to program vendors to guarantee group rates. If St. Olaf cancels the program on or before Sept. 15, 2008, you will receive a full refund of monies paid to St. Olaf.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to recover your payments should you need to withdraw from the program. Check with the insurance provider regarding their policy on refunding premiums if St. Olaf cancels the program.
Rates are per person, based on double occupancy.
Program fee
- $5,775 before Sept. 15, 2008
- $5,925 after Sept. 15, 2008, and any additional airfare if group seats are no longer available
- Single occupancy: Add $400
- Land only (making your own flight arrangements to Istanbul and from Amman), subtract $1400.
Deposit
- $500 due upon registration
- Refund: Full refund ($500) until May 31, 2008.
- If you make a deposit after May 31, 2008, there is no refund.
Interim payment
- $2,000 due by June 1, 2008
- Refund: $1,000 until Oct. 31, 2008
Final payment
- Due Nov. 1, 2008
- Refund: None, unless the program is full and your place can be resold
