A brief, 20-minute service of scripture, hymns, and a faculty or guest speaker is integral to St. Olaf's goal of developing the "whole person, in body, mind, and spirit."

VIDEO NEWS: Students design whimsical machine for national competition
A team of St. Olaf students will compete March 28 in the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest held at Purdue University. It's the first team the college has sent to the annual competition.

Men’s hockey clinches MIAC title
St. Olaf clinched its first MIAC regular season men’s hockey championship in 70 years with a 4-2 win over St. Thomas Feb. 14.

Asian studies course inspires student research in Japan
Assistant Professor of Political Science Kathy Tegtmeyer Pak and four St. Olaf students will travel to Japan this summer to research the differences in the narratives of war and peace museums. The research project, inspired by an Asian Conversations Interim course, will be funded by an ASIANetwork grant.
