Dean for First-Year Students
Rosalyn Eaton-Neeb '87
Welcome to all new Oles! I'm pleased that you have chosen to join the St Olaf community and I hope that the new academic year is beginning well for you.
As first year dean, I am the person new students (not just first years) may turn to for support. I am willing to answer your questions - or to help you find the answers if I don't have them. Your first year here will be exciting.......and challenging. Please know that you are not alone as you learn to make your way in this community. Take advantage of all this place has to offer - and learn how to balance your classes, activities and down time!
Who am I?
I am a graduate of St. Olaf as well as of Bowling Green State and the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). I lived in a few different places around the country, including New England, before returning to St. Olaf. I know that adjusting to the culture of this place
can be challenging. I have two young boys and a husband - all of whom you'll see around campus with and without me. My sons believe themselves to be Oles.
