I am very excited to serve as the Associate Dean for First Year Students and Seniors.

If this is your first year, you are in for a wide range of experiences...many of them new and challenging compared to your years in high school. Seniors, while having a few years under your belt, there are challenges and motivations unique to your senior year. My job is to help both classes with the transitions and issues that may arise. No question is stupid, no call for assistance too large. Please stop by the office, or make an appointment to talk about any issue that may come up for you.

I arrived at St. Olaf in 1995. Originally from a small farm town in Ohio, I have lived and worked at a variety of colleges in Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin before coming to Minnesota. My B.A. is from the University of Cincinnati and my M.S. ed is from Indiana University. I am an avid world traveler, a marathon runner, and spend lots of time with our crazy lab!
