How did you learn about St. Olaf and why did you choose to study here?
I was studying abroad in Japan during the time I needed to apply to colleges, so my parents took a look at some which met my criteria. St. Olaf was their top recommendation to me, and I trusted their choice.
Please reflect upon your St. Olaf experience.
I loved the community at St. Olaf. I loved how small the school was, and yet how much experience the professors have and how they could always help me find the contacts I needed to achieve my personal goals. Because my area of study was international, I knew a lot of the international students there, and believe that they play a huge role in making such an interesting community there. I loved St. Olaf because it gave me a chance to meet people from all around the world and all around the US and share a common experience there.
