Summer Parking Permits
Students who have a vehicle and will be staying on campus to study or work for the summer will need to obtain a Summer Parking Permit from the Parking Office (Tomson Hall 100). There is no reason to not get a summer permit, as there is no cost to students for them. That’s right—summer permits are FREE!!!!!
As during the academic year, the parking policy is still in effect, and there are two types of summer permits for students—one for those living on campus, and another for those living off campus.
On-campus permits are to park in Skoglund Lot or Lincoln Lot. Even though Larson Hall is the summer residence hall, at this time there are not any on-campus permits allowed to park in the lot next to the building.
Off-campus permits can park in either of the two commuter lots—Lot C, or by Hill/Kitt. Signs are posted labeling EACH of the areas as Commuter Parking.
Due to the various conferences and events that will be held on campus throughout the summer, it is extremely important that students park where their permit allows, and not take up faculty/staff/visitor spaces that will be needed by others.
