Northfield Metro Express a daily route service from Norfhtield to the Twin Cities, three times daily, 365 days a year. This local business venture is run by Northfield Lines, and replaces the Co-op Bus service, previously sponsored by St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges.
Subscriptions by the semester or the year will be available, as well as one-time rides. Tickets are purchased online only.
The service has wireless internet, fold down tray tables for laptops and a bike rack mounted on the bus for those whose stops may be located farther than walking distance.

Also provides tranportation to the Jefferson Lines Bus Depot located at The Steer Travel Center (Highway 19 and 35W intersection), Monday through Friday. The transit bus will meet one northbound and on southbound Jefferson Lines bus daily. 24 hour advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (507) 645-7250. Cost is $4 one-way. Likely an economical way to get to the single Bus Stop ( North 3rd Ave by 4th St Parking) is a shared cab. Even more economical, if schedule permits, try to take a Co-Op Bus or the Airport Only Bus to the airport and hop a cab from there. (same for a return trip)
