Bicycle Regulations

All bicycles on campus must be registered with the Parking Office and display a current bicycle license. This registration will require the following information: color of the bicycle, make, model and serial number. All bicycle registrations are free of charge. All bicycles must be parked in bike racks or designated areas to avoid interfering with vehicle and pedestrian traffic. To protect your investment, always lock your bicycle in the bike rack and use a high quality lock.

Any bicycle found on St. Olaf property without a current license, parked improperly or deemed abandoned will be impounded. Impoundment will include cutting the lock, if necessary, at the owners expense. Impounded bicycles may be claimed by calling Public Safety at 3666. Any bicycle not claimed within 60 days will become property of Public Safety and subject to sale at an annual bike sale.
