A note from the bookstore:
Once again this year, the St. Olaf community is sponsoring our annual GradFest event. This event is a "one-stop-shop" for all graduating seniors. We realize that the last year of college is a busy time for students, and GradFest provides a convenient way for seniors to access representatives from each campus office that is involved in the graduation process. Members of the following offices will be present at the event: Dean of the College, Financial Aid, Alumni and Parent Relations, Piper Center for Vocation and Career, Registrar, St. Olaf Bookstore, and the St. Olaf Fund.
GradFest will take place on Thursday, April 18 in the Sun and Gold Ballrooms of Buntrock Commons. The first session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second session will run from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. In addition to all of the official college business at GradFest, food and beverages will be provided and students will be able to play GradFest Bingo and to register for prize drawings.
The St. Olaf Bookstore will be distributing cap and gowns at GradFest. Students will need to pay for their gown at this time. The fee is $35 (cash, check or Ole Dollars only). The gown fee will increase to $40 for orders placed after GradFest. Jostens representatives will be on hand to take orders for custom graduation announcements and/or orders for a class ring. Students may also purchase diploma frames from Framing Success representatives. Students can play "GradFest Bingo" and have a chance to win one omf many great prizes!
Personalized announcements can be ordered from Jostens at GradFest or you may order directly through Jostens online or by calling 800.854.7464. Generic announcements and thank you notes will be available in the bookstore on a first come, first served basis. To order these items, you may also call the bookstore at 888.232.6523.
