Dean of Students Office

The Dean of Students Office coordinates and directs services and programs designed to assist students in taking full advantage of their St. Olaf experience, both in and out of the class-room. The dean has the responsibility of the dean of students office, public safety (security and parking), international student services, residence life, college Health Service, Wellness Center, Counseling Center, Academic Support Center, and student activities and organizations.

The Dean of Students Office suite includes the Dean of Students, Associate/Assistant class deans and the Academic Advising Center. The deans serve as consultants to individual students and student groups about student issues and concerns, including personal and academic concerns. The dean of students office is your administrative student advocacy center. Questions or concerns about policies, procedures or problems are encouraged. If you need assistance in resolving a college issue or are unsure about where you can go to get assistance, the Dean of Students Office is a good starting place.
