Performance Studies: Principal

 

Full credit lessons every semester once admitted to the program (minimum of 6)

 

1 semester collaborative keyboard performance studies (1.0) (in addition to the 6 minimum semesters full credit solo lessons)

Performance Studies: Secondary

4 semesters on 1 instrument. Up to 2 semesters of secondary voice may be taken in voice class (164). Up to 4 semesters of secondary piano may be taken in piano classes (161, 162, 261, 262).

Keyboard Proficiency Level IV
Performance (principal instrucment/voice)

• 2 solo performances on official student recitals
• 30 minute Junior recital (or, by petition only: 3 additional solo performances on official student recitals)
• 60-minute Senior recital

Collaborative Keyboard
In addition:
• 2 collaborative performances on official student recitals, one must be in junior or senior year
