Maggie Epstein

About Maggie

Maggie Epstein earned an MLIS from San Jose State University and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her Bachelor of Arts degree is from Carleton College, where she majored in American Studies with a concentration in Educational Studies. Maggie's research interests include library instruction pedagogy, first-year student research habits, and intersections between writing centers and libraries. She is the recipient of a 2018 ACRL Academic Library Impact Research Grant. With Bridget Draxler, she is co-author of the forthcoming book How to be a Peer Research Consultant: A Guide for Librarians and Students.
