ESTIMATOR
SECOA, a nationally known theatrical equipment manufacturer is seeking candidates for an Estimator. Responsibilities include reviewing, in detail, architectural construction documents (drawings, specs and addendums) for estimating theatrical rigging systems and related products for school and professional theatres and preparing costs estimates.  Candidates will be experienced in developing costs estimates using Microsoft products. Candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to interact with architects, theatre consultants and contractors for clarification of documents.  Experience in the theatrical industry and/or construction a plus.  Candidates will be experienced in handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, organization,  practical engineering knowledge, interpreting blueprints, problem solving, mechanically inclined and a team player. University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center (PAC)

The University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center (PAC) is searching for a full time draper. This is a full time, benefits eligible position.
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) costume shop is an exciting, fast paced and creative academic shop that produces costumes for 7 to 10 productions a year for the Department of Theatre and Dance and the Butler School of Music Opera program. In collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin faculty, the shop staff contributes to the mentorship and development of a diverse student population through excellent costume shop practice, supervision and guidance. The renowned PAC costume shop staff over sees student production personnel and provides evaluation and assessment of student artists' as they progress in their learning. The University of Texas attracts some of the most promising national and international young design and technology talent. The costume shop staff succeeds in providing these emerging artists with their first highly professional experience while preparing them for future careers as the next generation of theatre designers and technicians.

University of Minnesota Duluth

The Department of Theatre at the University of Minnesota Duluth is seeking to fill a fulltime, twelve-month, Technical Director position. This is a one-year appointment with the possibility of a recurring contract. Major responsibilities include managing the department production schedule and supervising in the scene shop with some teaching responsibilities. Preferred start date is August 31, 2009.
