A motion was made, seconded, and approved with discussion. We will now have an electronic newsletter. The scholarship could be called the “Newsletter Scholarship” and be funded at $500 like the other scholarships.
• Planning
- USITT @ 50: Rooth brought up the discussion of about a USITT @ 50
Party associated w/ Fall Workshop. Other likely programming for the celebration year include a USITT Sections Design Exhibit at the National Conference, Section History (Digital or Physical display).
Discussion was held about how we can plan and celebrate the 50th and how we can create a history of our section. Jean was asked to add a history of the Section Workshops to the existing on-line section history located on the NBS website. There was discussion of inviting former section leaders/ members to the fall workshop in the Twin Cities. Further ideas for the year-long section celebration are very welcome. Please forward to Rooth.
