POSITION TITLE: Temporary Replacement Position: Theater Technical Director
DEPARTMENT: Theater Department
REPORTS TO: Department Chair
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
POSITION PURPOSE:
TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT POSITION: To be responsible for the implementation of scenery and properties and the supervision of production spaces for the St. Olaf College Theater. To oversee the supervision of student workers in the Scene Shop working on the construction of scenery and properties for Semester II Theater Department productions.
- Responsible for the execution of production elements for the St. Olaf Theater productions taking place during Semester II, 2018
- Train, teach, and supervise student work staff and practicum students
- Ensure safe working practices in production areas
