Lots of Big News from Gopher Stage Lighting!
ESOP
Gopher Stage Lighting is pleased to announce the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) effective December 31, 2020. Over time Gopher Stage Lighting stock will be allocated to present and future employees. The ESOP is designed to assist our employees with their retirement and provide them with a financial stake in the company. We believe that shared ownership will promote a positive organizational culture which will result in the continued success of Gopher Stage Lighting.
In addition, the structure of the ESOP will empower our employees to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions which will positively impact our customers and partners. We want our employees to act and think like owners, and directly benefit from GSL’s continued success as participants in the ESOP.
At all levels of the company, customers will be working with an employee owner, an individual who is invested in the success of the company and the quality service Gopher Stage Lighting delivers.

Kevin Bieganek
Gopher Stage Lighting, Inc. is pleased to announce that Kevin Bieganek has moved into the role of Senior Rigging Department Manager. Kevin will maintain his role as Safety Director for GSL and will continue to perform rigging inspections. Kevin has been a member of the GSL Team since 2012 and is an ETCP Certified Rigger for Theater.
Josh Lentner
Gopher Stage Lighting, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Lentner to Lighting Project Manager. Since joining Gopher Stage Lighting, Inc. in January of 2017 as a Controls Technician, Josh has continued to take on more and more project responsibilities and proven himself deserving of the promotion. In 2020 Josh initiated outside coursework towards a Project Management (PMP) certification and more recently completed the Entrepeneurs on the Rise Project + Construction Management Series through the City of St. Paul - Section 3 Program.
