Mission of the Northern Boundary Regional Section of USITT
USITT N.B.S. provides a forum for communication for all of us involved in design and technology. It is the goal of this organization to promote the exchange of information that is pertinent to design and technology in theatre, opera, dance, entertainment and allied professions. The quarterly newsletter and annual workshops are designed to meet this goal.
USITT N.B.S. is one of a great many regional sections of the National USITT organization. The Northern Boundary Section draws its membership primarily from North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa. Members include individuals, businesses, theatres, and educational institutions with the common interest in design and technology in theater, opera, dance, and the larger entertainment and allied industries.
Northern Boundary News, the Section Newsletter
"Northern Boundary News" is the newsletter of USITT Northern Boundary Section. The newsletter is published three to four times per year to the membership of USITT Northern Boundary Section.
Northern Boundary Section welcomes articles from all of its readers. If you have articles or information for publication in the newsletter, please address them to the Vice-Chair for publications whose address is found inside this newsletter. Articles and information are accepted as hard copy or via E-Mail over Internet.
Annual Regional Events Sponsored By USITT NBS
N.B.S. holds an annual regional conference focusing on design and technology. The topics for the conference, dates, and location of the event are announced in this newsletter. As a member of NBS, it is your opportunity to be involved in the conference as participant, organizer, leader,or planner. Two membership meetings are usually held each year.
