Nobel Laureate Peter Agre to visit St. Olaf College

Native Northfielder and Nobel Laureate Peter Agre, will visit St. Olaf College on Thursday, Sept. 30. Agre will present a non-partisan talk "Science Policy and the 2004 Election," on the relationship between science and politics followed by a question and answer session, in Science Center 280 at 4 p.m. Tables will be set up nearby allowing for student voter registration. This talk is free and open to the public.

Agre won the 2003 Nobel Prize for the discovery of water channels in cell membranes.
