Priore contributes to Bluebook of Gun Values

St. Olaf Science Librarian Charles Priore has published an article titled "Firearms and Academia: An Unlikely Alliance and a Forgotten Market," in The Bluebook of Gun Values 25th Anniversary Edition(ed. S.P. Fjestad, 2004), a standard reference within the gun industry.

Additionally, Priore, along with Associate Professor of Biology John Giannini, have been awarded a $5,000 ACM Information Literacy Grant titled "Information Literacy and BioInformatics for Undergraduates." "This will be a comprehensive laboratory exercise that will take information literacy skills even further by pushing students into a real life experience of research, publishing and molecular modeling," says Priore.
