Oles come up short against Saint John's in men's hockey

On Saturday, February 7th, the Oles traveled to Collegeville, Minn. to play the second game of the two game weekend series. Once again the Johnnies took the lead in the game and came out on top with a 4-1 victory.
The Johnnies took an early lead in the first period and scored two goals, to go ahead 2-0.
The Oles came back in the second period when Billy Martin (FY, Richland, Wash.) scored his first collegiate goal on a pass from Keith Townsend (Sr., Sterling Heights, Mich.). Saint John's answered with a third goal in the second period, to go ahead 3-1 at the second break.
With six minutes left in the game, Saint John's added one final goal to seal the game 4-1.
The Oles are now 3-4-3 in MIAC play and 6-9-4 overall. The Oles are four points away from a postseason playoff spot. The next game is this Friday at home against Gustavus at 8:00 p.m.
