Honorary degree awarded today to Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland

St. Olaf presents the Honorable Gro Harlem Brundtland with an honorary degree in Boe Chapel at 10:10 a.m. Brundtland, past Secretary General of the World Health Organization and former Prime Minister of Norway, has devoted her life to the service of her nation and the world. Through her leadership she has promoted the rights and roles of women in government and advocated for world peace. This event is part of the 16th annual Peace Prize Forum "Striving for Peace: Roots of Change."
