Carter and Mondale reunite for warm reception at Nobel Peace Prize Forum

Former President Jimmy Carter called on Americans to give more generously to developing nations and to be aware of disease and other blocks to prosperity in the developing world. People around the globe are equally ambitious and intelligent, he told a crowd of almost 3,000 people at the 16th annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum at St. Olaf College on Feb. 21. But they must be given a chance to reach their full potential.
