Star Tribune travel editor Catherine Watson to speak Monday on campus

For the past 24 years, travel enthusiasts in the Twin Cities area have benefited from the expertise and personal experiences of Star Tribune senior travel editor Catherine Watson. She has written about subjects as diverse as the Trans-Siberian Railway and St. Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai, as well as destinations closer to home. Watson will speak at St. Olaf on Monday, Nov. 18, at 10:10 a.m. in Boe Memorial Chapel for the daily chapel service. Her talk, "The Spiritual Dimensions of Travel," will be rebroadcast at 9 p.m. Monday on Classical 89.3, the public radio service of St. Olaf College.
